to my mother. who is the best example to me. who has taught me everything. who is so patient. who pushed me to do hard things. who has a testimony of the gospel and shows it. who is so beautiful after having 10 kids. who shows me the true meaning of love. who has made me who i am today. who i love dearly. and who i will never be able to repay for everything she has done for me.

home sweet home.

i'm home for the summer and i've already had so much fun! its so great to be home. i love watching all my siblings play sports and i love just being in fruitland, idaho again. i love being around my friends and i love having time to relax. i love tanning and running in the morning. i'm excited for this summer and see what will happen.

this summer i plan on getting a job and working all the timeeee. i want to get my own car so i really hope that happens! we will see tho.

freshman year.

i cant believe how much i've learned in one year of college.

i also cant believe i'm a sophomore in college. like what the?! i feel like i just graduated from high school. leaving home and starting over somewhere new is really hard. i miss high school. i miss all my friends from high school. i miss not having to worry about money.  i miss playing sports! and i just miss fruitland, idaho.

butttt i am so glad that i'm in college. and that i went through the transition from high school to college. i have already learned so much. i've learned about life. i've learned so much about my major. i've strengthened my testimony. and i've learned random facts through all the stupid generals i have to take. i feel like i've already learned so much about being a mother too. i dont know how people do it without going to college!

this year has been hard. i went through a lot and had a hard time. but i am so thankful for everything that i went through. i learned so much this year. and i am excited to keep on learning.

i didn't want to go to college my senior year of high school. i hate school and struggle a lot academically. but i am so thankful for my mom who pushed me to apply. i love BYU and am so thankful for this college where i have a chance to learn and strengthen my testimony.

i love college and am so thankful for the opportunity to be going to BYU.

elder chatman.

my cousin Jordan Chatman left for his mission today! he is the MTC. its so crazyyyy. i cant believe he is old enough for this! were all growing up and its just weird. i am so proud of him for going on a mission. he put the Lord before basketball which he loves and i am just so proud of him! when he gets back he will be playing basketball for BYU and i am so excited for that. he came down to Utah on Sunday so jami and hannah drove down so we could all see him before he left on his mision. and it was so greattttt. we got to see him all day monday before we left that night to go home. i seriously love this kid. he is so funny! and i am always laughing when i'm around him. i cant wait to start writing him and see how his mission is going.

sisters.

for my and karli's last day in Utah joslin and kaitlin had a little sisters night for us! it was so cute. they bought us and pizza and we watched a movie together. it was so much fun. i seriously love my sisters so much. i dont know what i would of done without them at BYU with me. i love hanging out with them. they are seriously my best friends. and i already miss them now that i'm in Fruitland!

graduation

my oldest sister, kaitlin graduated from BYU this past weekend. my parents and grandparents came down for the event so it was a lot of fun. i'm so proud of kaitlin for graduating. shes such a great example to me! and i want to graduate just like her.

Happy Easter everyone!!

i'm so thankful for Easter and the chance to remember Christ and his sacrifices he made for me. i am so thankful for the gospel in my life and everything that Christ has done for me. i dont know where i'd be without the gospel in my life. it has helped me so much in making decisions and i would be lost without it. i am so thankful for the power of prayer and the chance to talk to my heavenly father and know that he is listening to me. he knows what i'm going through and has a plan for me. i'm so thankful for the resurrection and the sacrifices he made for me. i'm so thankful for the Atonement. the chance to repent when time is needed and to become a better person.

i hope everyone has a good easter. gets lots of candyyyy. but also remember the true meaning of Easter.
